This midspan PoE injector can power connected cameras / devices from a maximum distance of 100 metres from the unit. Additionally, a repeater module can be connected to this midspan injector to further extend the distance of power & data transmission by an additional 100 metres in large scale industrial & research facilities. This midspan injector can support upto 6 repeater modules for extending the data & power transmission by 600 metres. Altronix NetWay16MV midspan injector features sixteen dedicated ports for connecting multiple devices (cameras / edge devices) over ethernet at 10 / 100 Mbps speed. This midspan injector have built in short circuit protection feature for enabling automatic detection & protection of non-PoE edge devices / cameras.
