It can be locked in both extended & retracted positions for use as a pull or push clamp, or only in the extended position to be used as a push clamp. Destaco 670-1MBPLS clamp is ideal for repeated clamping / unclamping during testing, welding, fixturing, tensioning, CNC machining & plastic injection moulding applications. Additionally, it features precision clamping handles for high production efficiency and comes with a spring hold open device for preventing the clamp from accidental closing. This clamp is equipped with a pre-loaded nut for locking the clamp against itself (when not under pressure) & preventing opening when mounted vertically. It also has an adjustable collet type bushing to eliminate plunger end movement due to repeated usage and is equipped with a round plunger having M12 metric threading. This clamp plunger has a flat surface to prevent rotational movement and allow offset piloting & holding. It has steel construction for structural rigidity & durability, and offers a maximum load capacity of 2400 lb.
