Pull Action Latch clamps are ideal for closing & opening fixtures / workpieces repetitively during latching, moulding and assembly operations. These horizontal or vertical pulling devices are available in fixed latch, U hook (horizontal and vertical) and J hook styles for pulling / closing the workopieces. Destaco 375 Series pull action latch clamps feature an easy to use handle to attach a horizontal U hook to an opposing workpiece latch / cleat (placed parallel to the clamp base). These clamp handles are integrated with a patented thumb control lever for a convenient single handed operation. Destaco 375-M-50 clamp is equipped with a 50 mm longer U hook for closing a fixture at a greater length than standard length U hook clamps. It has flanged base for quick & easily removable installation on a flat surface / workpiece. This clamp has heavy duty steel construction for structural rigidity and durability to prevent bending / breaking under heavy loads (maximum 4000 lb). Raptor Supplies offers this clamp in variants having weld on base for permanent installation; Toggle Lock Plus mechanism for secondary locking of the clamp to prevent its accidental opening. You can order these latch clamps having different hook lengths (standard length, 25 mm longer than standard length & 100 mm longer than standard length), by simply removing -M-50 or adding -M-25 & -M-100 at the end of the model number.
We also offer a similar (Destaco 374-M-50) latch clamp having a vertical U hook for handling a workpiece placed perpendicular to the clamp base.
Destaco 375-M-50 latch clamp is suitable for latching, moulding and assembly operations on fixtures like lids, doors, drums, containers, vessels and access covers. This clamp is generally used in transportation, consumer goods, aerospace, automotive and food & packaging industries.
A. Raptor Supplies offers these manual clamps having Destaco Toggle Lock Plus feature (375-R-M-50) to prevent accidental locking of the clamp; weld on base mounting style (375-B-M-50) for permanent, welded installation.
A. Raptor Supplies delivers similar latch clamps having different hook lengths, such as standard length (375), 25 mm longer than standard length (375-M-25) and 100 mm longer than standard length (375-M-100).
A. These pull action latch clamps have a handle to operate the tool, a clamping arm to act as a contact point between the work item & the clamp and a base to attach the clamp to the surface. Once the simple linkage system of the clamp is put in the over-centre position, the handle is moved for creating a force parallel to the base to hold the work items.
A. Many of the Destaco manual clamps come with the Toggle Lock Plus feature to act as a secondary locking mechanism and ensure the over-centre toggle lock condition of the clamps. This mechanism is essential when fixtures of the clamp are in motion, in a vibratory environment or are inverted. It offers an extra level of safety for the user and the workpiece.
A. Whenever you're dealing with the brand's mechanical clamps, it is recommended to use a coupling grease like Mobil XTC.
A. The holding capacity or the holding force depicts the clamp's capability to hold down equipment or sheet metal on the assembly line or during similar manufacturing processes.
A. The red coloured handles alert the user about the location of the operating handle and when he should grab it. The red colour has no additional advantage to the working of the clamps.
A. Most Destaco clamps feature grips that can be easily removed by simply sliding them off. But some handle grips undergo vinyl dipping to fit the underlying handle and hence, have to be cut off for removal.
