Pull action latch clamps provide a strong closing force to repetitively close & open fixtures (placed horizontally or vertically to their clamp base) in latching, moulding and assembly operations. These clamps are primarily available in fixed latch, U hook (horizontal and vertical) and J hook styles. Destaco 351 Series clamps feature J hook pull bar for pulling a latch plate / workpiece (parallel to the clamp base) when its clamp handle is moved. This clamp handle is equipped with a thumb control lever for easy one handed operation. Destaco 351-M-50 clamp has 50 mm longer J hook for pulling workpieces at a greater distance from the clamp base than a standard J hook style clamp. It has flanged base for quick mounting on a flat surface or workpiece. This latch clamp has steel construction to provide strength and prevent bending / breaking under heavy loads. It provides a maximum holding capacity of 375 lb. Raptor Supplies also offers this clamp in variants having stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance in abrasive conditions; narrow flange base for installation in compact spaces; Toggle Lock Plus mechanism for preventing accidental opening during the operation. You can order these latch clamps in variants having different hook lengths (standard length, 25 mm longer than standard length & 100 mm longer than standard length), by simply removing -M-50 or adding -M-25 & -M-100 at the end of the model number.
We also offer Destaco 324-M-50 pull action latch clamp having a vertical U hook for holding a workpiece that is placed perpendicular to its base; providing a maximum holding capacity of 500 lb.
Destaco 351-M-50 latch clamp is used for closing chamber doors, lids, access covers, drums and vessels in aerospace, automotive, food & packaging and consumer goods industries.
A. Raptor Supplies offers similar clamps, such as Destaco 351-SS-M-50 latch clamp having stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and durability in harsh environments. We also supply Destaco 351-B-M-50 clamp having narrow flange base for installation in compact spaces.
A. Destaco supplies similar latch clamps in different hook lengths, such as standard length (351), 25mm longer than standard length (351-M-25) and 100 mm longer than standard hook length (351-M-100).
A. These pull action latch clamps has a handle to operate the tool, a clamping arm to act as a contact point between the work item & the clamp; a base to attach the clamp to the surface. Once the simple linkage system of the clamp is put in the over-centre position, the handle is moved for creating a force parallel to the base to hold the work items.
A. Many of the Destaco manual clamps come with the Toggle Lock Plus feature to act as a secondary locking mechanism and ensure the over-centre toggle lock condition of the clamps. This mechanism is essential when fixtures of the clamp are in motion, in a vibratory environment or are inverted. It offers an extra level of safety for the user and the workpiece. Raptor Supplies offers Destaco 351-R-M-50 latch clamp having Toggle Lock Plus mechanism to prevent its accidental opening during the operation.
A. Whenever you're dealing with the brand's mechanical clamps, it is recommended to use a coupling grease like Mobil XTC.
A. The holding capacity or the holding force depicts the clamp's capability to hold down equipment or sheet metal on the assembly line or during similar manufacturing processes.
