Martin Sprocket C Series conventional stock sheaves are suitable for belt-driven systems for transmitting rotational motion from a driving source (like a motor) to a driven component (such as fans, conveyors or pumps). They feature a 2-groove design that allows two belts to grip and transfer the rotational force simultaneously. These conventional sheaves utilise taper bushings to provide a secure and tight fit onto the shaft, ensuring efficient power transmission. They feature cast iron construction that offers excellent resistance to wear, corrosion and high temperatures. Selected models have a webbed design with spokes to connect the hub to the rim of the sheave, reducing weight, improving ventilation and increasing flexibility.
