Little Giant submersible sump pumps are designed for removing standing / accumulated water from a sump basin in the basement or crawl space and transfer water to the sewer line. These units come with stainless steel housing for handling corrosive fluids and semi-open impeller design for handling liquids with solid particles. They are completely submerged underwater and start operating the motor automatically when the sump pit water rises to an emergency level and stops the pump when the water has drained down to normal level.
