Dayton current sensor relays are designed to regulate current to protect sensitive equipment from being damaged due to over or undercurrent. They feature sensors for monitoring jam-up conditions, machine tool wear, no-load conditions, locked rotors, current loss and heater or lamp load. These relays havee a switch to select either overcurrent or undercurrent operation and an LED to indicate the status. Current sensor relays detect voltage and protect heavy machinery from sudden current changes. Raptor Supplies offers an array of current sensor relays from brands like Airotronics, Dayton, Functional Devices, Inc., Johnson Controls and Macromatic. CAH Series current sensing relays from Macromatic monitor single-phase AC current and feature a built-in toroidal through-hole current transformer for easy access. These encapsulated sensor relays are equipped with an LED that indicates fault condition and multiple loops to offer maximum sensitivity. Johnson Controls current switches monitor the current flowing through the cable and facilitate start and stop of the motor. These switches have a compact size that can fit in tight enclosures and snap-in mounting bracket allowing simple installation.
