Chemical transfer pumps are designed to circulate mildly corrosive acids, alkalis, plating and sterile solutions and solvents for in cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food industries. These pumps feature magnets on the impeller and a motor shaft for transferring full torque of the motor to the pump. With the motor shafts not in direct contact with their wet end, these magnetic-drive pumps are not only able to effectively reduce the occurrence of pump leakage but also the maintenance cost of a mechanical seal. To further reduce human effort, self-priming option is available on selected pumps. These pumps do not require manual filling of the suction pipe with liquid to remove air.
