Working Mechanism:

  • Advance the lift truck by inserting the forks into the fork tubes.
  • Using the safety chain, secure the hopper to the fork carriage.
  • Drive the forklift to the garbage can.
  • Unlock the latch lever by pulling the finger tab until the lock disengages the latch bar, before raising the hopper.
  • Raise the forks and tilt the forklift mast backwards. Tilting the mast backwards makes releasing the latch easier.
  • You can now dump the hopper.
  • Return the chute to its latched state.
  • Back away from the dumpster by tilting the forklift mast towards the cab.
  • The hopper should return to the latched position on its own.
