REED Instruments R2222 digital stem thermometer is suitable for measuring temperatures ranging from -40 to 482 degrees F (-40 to 250 degrees C) with an accuracy of +/-1.5% reading or +2 degrees. It is capable of holding data and keeping track of maximum & minimum readings in medical, food service, pharmaceutical. R&D, educational, industrial and commercial applications.

Working Mechanism:

  • Remove this REED Instruments R2222 digital stem thermometer's protective cover.
  • Press the 'ON/OFF' button & insert at least half of the stem into the testing area.
  • The display should show the current temperature.
  • The unit can be changed from Fahrenheit to Celsius scale by pressing the 'deg C/deg F' button.
