Product Details

    • Palmetto Packing 1382 is a compression packing seal used to protect rotating asphalt pumps and valves from fluid leaks.
    • It features an expanded PTFE body lubricated with pure graphite particles and an inert fluid to provide resistance against harsh chemicals (paper stocks, slurries or caustic sewages) and withstand shaft speeds up to 3800 rpm.
    • The Interwoven braid construction of this seal reduces glazing and scoring by providing high heat dissipation rates, as well as prevents spinning-off of the packing from the pump shaft.
