How to use Devcon gun applicators?

  • Preparation: Make sure you have the Devcon adhesive or epoxy cartridge that is compatible with the gun applicator before beginning..
  • Load the Cartridge: Align the cartridge's nozzle with the gun's dispensing tip and insert the cartridge into the gun applicator.
  • Secure the Cartridge: Use the locking mechanism or tightening mechanism that is supplied to secure the cartridge, depending on the design of the gun applicator. This will guarantee that the cartridge is securely fastened.
  • Dispensing: With one hand on the handle and the other holding the cartridge, firmly grasp the gun applicator. To start the glue or epoxy dispensing, squeeze the trigger. To control the material's flow, apply consistent, controlled pressure to the trigger.
  • Application: Point the dispensing tip at the proper location for applying the glue or epoxy. To keep a steady flow, smoothly move the gun applicator over the surface while holding down the trigger.
  • Finishing: Release the trigger to halt the dispensing once the desired quantity of glue or epoxy has been applied. To avoid material blockage or drying, if necessary, clean the dispensing tip.
  • Cartridge Removal: Following the manufacturer's directions, take the cartridge out of the gun applicator once the application is finished. The empty cartridge should be disposed of properly.
