Destaco 827-S-LC replacement pneumatic toggle clamp is used for clamping, gripping, welding and locating applications. This stainless steel clamping unit holds and positions products safely in place, for error-free operation. This pneumatic toggle clamp is sensor ready for both round and T slot style sensors and features built in flow restriction to eliminate the need for external flow controls. It allows economical use on short-run jobs with temporary fixturing and comes equipped with magnetic piston rings for precise position sensing. Destaco 827-S-LC replacement pneumatic toggle clamp has dual mounting surfaces for maximum flexibility and is capable of handling loads up to 700 lb. This pneumatic toggle clamp can be operated at temperatures ranging from -14 to 194 degrees Fahrenheit and has a solid bar for keeping workpieces securely in place. This pneumatic toggle clamp is equipped with a clamping arm that provides wide clearance for easy loading using a sturdy helical-cam mechanism operated by a double-acting air cylinder. Destaco 827-S-LC replacement pneumatic toggle clamp has a large opening angle that ensures easy component removal. It is portable and comes integrated with air actuated cylinders for applying clamping pressure & holding workpieces in place. The air pressure is applied in the clamping port, which thereby moves the clamping arm to hold the workpiece. Then the required clamping force is achieved and exerted on the work piece. Under this action, this toggle clamp holds the workpiece firmly and positively. For unlocking the clamp, the air pressure is applied in the unclamping port. It is completely self contained & requires only a pressure source for safety.
Destaco 827-S-LC replacement pneumatic toggle clamp is designed for applications such as grinding, welding, assembly and light machining in the automotive and food & packaging industries.
A. Yes, Destaco offers pneumatic toggle clamps in U-bar style as well.
A. The clamp's holding capacity or holding force signifies the capability of a clamp to hold down mechanical equipment or sheet metal during automotive part assembling or similar manufacturing processes.
A. Pneumatic toggle clamps utilise compressed air rather than mechanical force for applying clamping force to hold workpieces in place. They get actuated with a double acting pneumatic cylinder.
A. The toggle clamp actuates against the workpiece and stretches or compresses the equipped linkages for keeping the workpiece in a stationary position.
A. Yes, Destaco also offers inductive sensors designed in accordance with IP65 standards to provide protection from powerful hydraulic jets, dust & heavy rain.
A. A coupling grease like Mobil XTC should be used when dealing with Destaco mechanical clamps, while the Magnalube G grease is great for use with pneumatic cylinder seals.
A. Power clamps offer the ability to control clamping force, increase productivity & production, provide consistent & efficient services for repetitive production operations, and support workpieces that adjust automatically.
A. The holding power of a toggle clamp is a crucial factor to take into account before starting an application. The operator has to place the right amount of pressure on the workpiece while clamping. We suggest not to exceed the recommended pressure because it may tremendously damage your workpiece. In addition, too little weight is also not ideal.
