Pull action latch clamps provide a strong closing force while closing & opening doors & lids regularly during latching, moulding and assembly operations. These clamps are generally available in fixed latch, U-hook (horizontal and vertical) and J-hook type designs. Destaco 341 Series clamps are used to pull latch plates that are attached to workpieces parallel to the clamp base. These clamps feature a handle with a thumb control lever for an easy single handed operation. They are equipped with a horizontal U hook pull bar for holding the latch plates / workpieces when clamp handles are moved. Destaco 341-M-50 clamp has a 50 mm longer U hook for pulling workpieces at a greater distance than standard length U hook style clamps. It features flanged base mounting style for quick & easy installation onto flat surfaces or workpieces. This latch clamp has steel construction for structural integrity while preventing bending / breaking due to rough usage. Raptor Supplies offers this clamp in variants having stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance; Toggle Lock Plus mechanism for preventing accidental disconnection of the clamp. You can order these latch clamps with different hook lengths (standard length, 25mm longer than standard length & 100 mm longer than standard length), by simply removing -M-50 or adding -M-25 & -M-100 at the end of the model number.
We also offer Destaco 344 Series pull action latch clamps having vertical U hook for holding the workpieces perpendicular to the base.
Destaco 341-M-50 latch clamp is suitable for assembly, latching, moulding and closure operations. This clamp is also used for latching applications on chamber doors, lids, access covers, drums and vessels in aerospace, automotive, food & packaging and consumer goods industries.
A. Destaco supplies similar latch clamps having different hook lengths of standard length (341), 25 mm longer than standard length (341-M-25) and 100 mm longer than standard hook length (341-M-100).
A. Raptor Supplies also offers Destaco 341-SS-M-50 latch clamp having stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and durability under harsh environments. We can supply these manual clamps with Destaco Toggle Lock Plus mechanism to prevent accidental opening of clamps (341-R-M-50).
A. These pull action latch clamps have a handle to operate the tool, a clamping arm to act as a contact point between the work item & the clamp and a base to attach the clamp to the surface. Once the simple linkage system of the clamp is put in the over-centre position, the handle is moved for creating a force parallel to the base to hold the work items.
A. Many of the Destaco manual clamps come with the Toggle Lock Plus feature to act as a secondary locking mechanism and ensure the over-centre toggle lock condition of the clamps. This mechanism is essential when fixtures of the clamp are in motion, in a vibratory environment or are inverted. It offers an extra level of safety for the user and the workpiece.
A. Whenever you're dealing with the brand's mechanical clamps, it is recommended to use a coupling grease like Mobil XTC.
A. The holding capacity or the holding force depicts the clamp's capability to hold down equipment or sheet metal on the assembly line or during similar manufacturing processes.
