201 Series Portable Drum Rollers

Morse Drum rollers are widely used to blend batches of powder, mix paints, oils, urethane resin, glue, dyes, flavours, etc. inside a sealed drum. These rollers eliminate the chances of exposure to harmful chemicals and don't require the clean-up associated with insertion mixers. They are have a 20 rpm fixed speed and the variable speed ranges between 15 and 24 rpm. These Morse Drum rollers can handle up to 227 kg load and can be easily adjusted to accommodate 30 or 55 gallon drums. These explosion-proof electric drum mixers are available in single- and three-phase motor variants.

Working Mechanism

/c/drum-lifters/morse-drum to carefully place the drum on the base plate.

  • Raise the kickstand off the floor by pushing the tipping lever forward if needed.
  • Release the kickstand by pulling the yellow kickstand release lock lever.
  • Place your foot on the axle footpad and pull back on the tipping lever to break the drum over.
  • Reposition your foot and continue lowering until the roller and drum are horizontal.
  • Move the roller to the desired location for drum rolling.
  • Adjust the speed of the Roller using the variable speed control crank.
  • Turn the crank counterclockwise to increase drum RPM and clockwise to decrease RPM.
  • Features

    • Locate the two set screws in each wheel hub of the roller.
    • Using the provided 1/8-inch Allen wrench, loosen these set screws.
    • Position the wheels to support the drum at its strongest point.
    • Place the two inner wheels next to the drum ribs to prevent axial movement.
    • If the drum rubs against the nosepiece, make necessary adjustments to wheel positions.
    • Once positioned correctly, tighten the set screws in the wheel hubs.

    Adapting to Different Drum Diameters:

    • To adjust for different diameters, start by removing six-bearing mount bolts.
    • Slide the idler wheel assembly either towards the drive side for smaller diameters or away from the drive side for larger diameters.
    • Ensure that all three pillow bearings are accurately aligned after making the adjustment.
    • Reattach and securely tighten the six-bearing mount bolts.
