How to operate Alpax arch punches?

  • Secure the prepared gasket on a flat, hard surface.
  • Mark the location of bolt holes on the gasket using a pencil or marker with appropriate spacing.
  • Measure the size of the bolt hole and choose an appropriately sized arch punch.
  • Place the cutting edge of the arch punch over the marked bolt hole on the gasket & strike the other end with a hammer.
  • Remove the punched out material from the arch punch and repeat the process till all the bolt holes are punched out.
