Elmo Rietschle vacuum pumps are ideal for thermoforming, die casting, material handling and HVAC applications. These units feature a TEFC continuous-duty motor operating at a 60 Hz power supply and silver / gray metallic finish ensuring excellent solderability. Vacuum pumps are typically used for removing gas molecules from a sealed volume and are, therefore ideal for use in electronics manufacturing units to produce semiconducting materials, bulbs and lamps & CRTs. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of vacuum pumps from brands, like Bel-Art-Scienceware, Plast-O-Matic,Dayton, Elmo Rietschle, Labconco and Welch. These pumps have an automatic chemical handling system capable of pumping highly corrosive liquids, such as sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid, chlorine, caustics and demineralised water and also ensure user safety, simultaneously .Plast-O-Matic water vacuum pumps feature a 4-chamber design: a liquid chamber, a vented chamber and two air operating chambers with capacities of 7 ounces, 10 ounces, 32 ounces and 128 ounces, respectively. During piston-seal pump failure, the patented Fail Dry technology of these pumps helps in forcible by-passing of the fluid towards the exit vent port to prevent stalling in the entire unit. These vacuum pumps are further equipped with proximity sensors for verifying the pump position and the operational status of different processes.
For heavy-duty applications in wet / humid areas, Elmo Rietschle (XD series) rotary vane pumps have a flange design equipped with an oil / air heat exchanger and bearings on both sides of the rotor for better heat dissipation rates and reduced friction, respectively.
