Speedaire air screwdrivers are commonly used in fragile production setups that require low-torque fastening like connecting printed circuit boards and other electronic equipment. They keep the operators forearm in synch with the bit to reduce fatigue and allow highest pressure and control. These screwdrivers are provided with a chuck that holds replaceable screwdriver bits and a motor that rotates the bits to turn screws without overdriving them. Air screwdrivers are compressed air powered screwdrivers designed for use on wood, plastic, metal and resin in production, manufacturing & assembling applications. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of compressed air actuated pneumatic screwdrivers from brands like Chicago Pneumatic, Ingersoll-Rand, Speedaire, Cleco, Master Power and ASG. Ingersoll-Rand adjustable clutch screwdrivers deliver precise torque for critical fastening industrial-duty applications. These adjustable clutch screwdrivers feature a trigger (piston style screwdrivers) or lever (in-line screwdrivers) operation mechanism which allows compressed air supply through the inlet. They can either be set in clockwise or anti-clockwise motion of rotation while shut-off reduces the air consumption required. The compact in-line design makes them suitable for use in tight spaces and coated grip ensure less user fatigue. Speedaire air screwdrivers with internal clutch adjustments make them ideal for light assembly and general repair applications. These screwdrivers can rotate at a maximum speed of 1800 RPM. The pistol grip style screwdrivers are designed for easy handling & feature a positive direction operation whereas in-line screwdrivers offer reversible operation.
