Vulcan Hart LG300 gas fryer is the perfect cooking equipment for frying food items and draining excess oil. This equipment is beneficial in restaurants and banquets for quick food preparation.

Working Mechanism:

  • Close the drain valve and fill the tank with liquid shortening.
  • Push the gas control valve knob to Off.
  • Push and turn the gas control valve knob to the L in the pilot.
  • While holding the knob still, light the pilot with a lit flame.
  • Depress and turn the gas control knob to the On position.
  • Set the desired temperature and allow shortening to heat up to that temperature.
  • Fry items of suitable sizes to ensure equal doneness.

A. This gas fryer's drain must be filtered every day.

Q. What is the boil-out procedure of this gas fryer?

A.

  • Drain the tank and flush out scraps and sediment using a tank brush.
  • Close the drain valve and fill the tank with water. Use a low-foaming cleaner / degreaser to clean the fry tank.
  • Add commercial boil-out solution. The solution level must be between the minimum and maximum levels on the fryer tank.
  • Set the thermostat to a temperature of around 200 degrees F. Allow the solution to simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Drain the cleaning solution from the tank.
  • Close the drain valve and refill the tank with water.
  • Add 1 cup of vinegar to neutralise the alkaline left by the cleaner.
  • Drain the tank and rinse thoroughly with clear, hot water.
