Q. How many uprights are needed for two 'runs' on pallet racking?

A. You will need 3 Vestil PRTD frames for two continuous 'runs' on the pallet racking.

Q. How to install Vestil PRTD-10-42-24 24 pallet rack frame?

A.

  • Place the pallet rack on a flat & even surface. When deciding where to install, keep in mind the need for aisle space to accommodate lifting equipment.
  • Place an upright frame in the desired location and mark the floor with bolt holes in the footpads.
  • Anchor bolts should be 1/2 inch in diameter to match the bolt holes in the footpads of the upright frame pieces.
  • Drill anchor bolt holes and install anchoring devices.
  • Slide a lock washer followed by a flat washer onto each bolt, before bolting the upright frame to the ground.
  • The bolts should then be inserted through the bolt holes in the footpads and into the anchoring device.
  • Insert the beam locking tabs (at the same height on both ends, so that the beam is level) into the teardrop openings in the uprights to install the beams.
