Q. How to assemble PS Doors SMZ-MM100 mezzanine gate?

A.

• Start with both side header assemblies lying upside down and place front headers inside the header assemblies.
• Fasten the corners using four 5/16-inch flange nuts & carriage bolts.
• Tighten the sprockets on each side flange bearing to prevent the lateral movement of the shaft.
• Use a shaft key to align the sprocket to the shaft and tighten both set screws firmly. Repeat the same for each corner.
• Attach the four columns to each corner using six 5/16 inch carriage bolts and flange nuts.
• Attach ends of the radiused tracks using track bolts, washers & nylock nuts.
• Attach the side rail to the column using four carriage bolts & flange nuts.
• Attach a temporary brace using two 5/16 inch carriage bolts and flange nuts.
• Once side rails and temporary braces are installed, the product can be tipped into the upright position.
• Finally, attach an anchor bracket to each leg using two carriage bolts and flange nuts.
