Features:

  • It has a soft steel head that minimises rebound and delivers a more focused blow to reduce damage to the workpiece.
  • It features an Ergo-Power, injection-moulded handle with a solid pultruded Nuplaglas core to protect the fibreglass handle from overstrikes and extend its service life.
  • This Nupla 20 lb sledge hammer features a maximum hardness of 30 Rockwell C and SG style grip for excellent hold on the handle (even without gloves) in all weather conditions.

Q. How is the Nuplaglas handle constructed?

A. The Nuplaglas handle undergoes pultrusion treatment that uses thousands of strands of fibreglass and proprietary resin material. When constant pressure is applied, the resin starts melting and impregnates the fibrous reinforcement. This makes the handle super-tough and resistant to weather & chemicals.

Q. Why is the hammer head marked 'S'?

A. The blue head of the hammer is marked 'S' for safety, allowing quick identification at the work site.
