A. Helicoil kit includes an installation tool used to engage the tang of the insert to drive it into the housing.
A. Screw lock inserts use a locking mechanism to grip the bolt and prevent it from loosening under vibration or impact.
A. A tang tool is needed to remove the driving tangs of inserts to eliminate their interference with the end of the assembled bolt. It is automatically operated using a spring-loaded, easily triggered punch that strikes a sharp, uniform blow against the tang of the installed insert.
