Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How is Anvil FIG 257 structural tee slide assembly installed?

A. This tee slide assembly features a base plate having mounting holes for easy and secure installation.

Q. What safety precautions should I take while using Gruvlok fittings?

A.

  • Check pipe ends for proper grooved dimensions and make sure that the pipe is free of indentations, projections or other flaws that would prevent the gasket from sealing properly.
  • Apply a thin layer of compatible lubricant or can consider Gruvlok lubruicant to the exterior surface and seal the gasket's lips. In some cases, the entire gasket surface must be lubricated.
  • Ensure that no foreign particles stick to lubricated surfaces.

Q. How often should structural tee slide assemblies be inspected or maintained?

A. Regular inspections are recommended to ensure proper functionality and detect any signs of wear or corrosion. Maintenance intervals depend on factors such as usage, environmental exposure and load conditions.
