Eaton GHB3030 C Series circuit breaker is designed to protect low-voltage distribution systems against overloads & short-circuits. It is ideal for reverse-feed applications.

Working Mechanism:

• GHB3030 C Series circuit breaker is controlled by the circuit breaker handle.
• The unit passes current through its current-carrying contacts.
• While detecting any fault, the contacts back off from each other, tripping the unit thermally or magnetically.
• Reset the breaker by moving the breaker handle to the OFF position.
• Finally, switch the circuit back to the On position.

• Eaton GHB3030 C Series circuit breaker has a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip for long-time and instantaneous current limiting protection.
• It has an HACR-rated design with bolt-on mounting facility for easy installation and screw terminals for accommodating wires having sizes of 10 - 1/0 AWG.
• This three-pole device is available in continuous current ratings from 15A to 100A.
• The three positions (ON, OFF & Tripped) on the handle indicate the status of the circuit breaker.

Q. How to install this circuit breaker?

A.

• Check for damage before mounting.
• Switch the main power disconnect to OFF.
• Remove panelboard front trim.
• Remove circuit breaker line-end connector retaining screw from bus bar.
• Position the unit load-end retaining recess under hook mounting rail.
• Secure line-end connector to bus bar with screw.
• After mounting, accessory leads and load terminals should be connected.
• Check terminal connecting hardware for correct torque loading.
• Install panelboard front trim.

• Remove dust or moisture from the surface of the circuit breaker with a vacuum or cloth. Do not blow debris into the circuit breaker.
• Switch to ON and OFF multiple times to ensure that the mechanical linkages are free.
