Product Details:

Eaton BD2015 circuit breaker protects electrical circuits & equipment against faulty currents. This thermal-magnetic circuit breaker is used with Eaton BR type load centers. Eaton also offers circuit breaker bell alarm that can be used to alarm the user against trips.

Working Mechanism:

  • This circuit breaker is essentially a resettable fuse that cuts off the connected circuit when the current exceeds the safe limit.
  • Upon detecting the current spike, the circuit breaker trips and blocks the circuit.

Features:

  • It features plug-in mounting for easy installation & replacement on distribution board slots.
  • It has a thermal-magnetic trip unit for delivering both time-delayed & instantaneous current limiting protection.
  • It has a built-in rejection tab for blocking the clamping slot on the breaker, ensuring that the circuit breaker fits sections of the buss having notches in it.
