Product Details:

Dickey-John MINIGAC1P grain moisture meter is designed to determine the amount of water in a particular item. It is frequently used by woodworkers and carpenters, as wood is quite sensitive to moisture.

Working Mechanism:

  • Dickey-John grain moisture meter determines whether the grain is dry or wet by measuring the resistance to the flow of electricity.
  • Since water is a conductor of electricity. Hence, more the water in grain, the lower the resistance and less the water, the higher the resistance. This is then expressed into readings in percentages.

  • This grain moisture meter provides USB compatibility.
  • It can be used for more than 450 grains and also provides automatic temperature compensation.
