Destaco 5000 Series straight line action clamps, also known as hold down action clamps, use a high strength, clamping arm for performing heavy duty operations. They are equipped with hardened bushings & steel pivot pins for extended service life. Destaco 5131-M straight line action clamp has a hardened plunger with metric internal threadings to fit a metric threaded spindle. This clamp has low profile and robust steel construction with black oxide finish for preventing bending / breaking under heavy loads (maximum of 2500 lb). It comes with a reverse acting handle that rotates backwards as the plunger moves forward to keep the handle out of the work area.
