Bussmann LPJ-100SP fuse offers protection against overcurrent conditions in electronic and electrical systems. It is specifically designed to tolerate temporary overloads that might occur during startup or normal operation without immediately blowing or tripping.

Working Mechanism:

  • A time delay fuse works by utilising a fuse element and thermal properties to provide a delayed response to overcurrent conditions.
  • When an overcurrent occurs in the circuit, the fuse element heats up due to its resistance.
  • In this cartridge blade fuse, the design of element and the surrounding materials is such that the heat dissipation is controlled, causing the fuse element to heat up slowly.
  • The fuse element heats up and blows, eventually breaking the circuit.

  • Bussmann LPJ-600SP Low-Peak fuse has a dual-element for time-delay and current-limiting functionalities.
  • This time delay / slow blow fuse can safely interrupt 300kAIC at 600VAC.
  • It has a response time of 10 seconds at 500 percent of the rated current (100A), allowing for the safe start-up and operation of inrush-heavy equipment.
  • This cartridge blade fuse delivers consistent 2:1 ampacity ratios for seamless protection and minimised downtime.
