AMS 404.05 soil core sampler allows users to collect relatively undisturbed soil core samples from pre-augered boreholes or from the subsurface.

Working Mechanism:

  • AMS 404.05 sampler is moved into the soil by slipping the thinner rod of the cylindrical hammer down into the sampler handle.
  • The larger end of the hammer is lifted and dropped for driving the sampler barrel into the soil.
