Product Details:

Air Systems BB50-CO4R filters incoming air from the compressor to supply respirators with Grade D quality air and monitors the carbon monoxide level present in the air.

Working Mechanism:

  • The first stage element filters bulk water & particulates and has an auto drain function.
  • The second stage is a coalescing filter with an auto drain that removes ultra-fine particulates, mists and atomised oils.
  • The third stage filter removes organic vapours and odours, but it only has a standard manual drain.
  • The filter change indicator is common for all three filtration stages.

Features:

  • 3 stage filtration with auto / manual drain ideal for serving up to 4 people with 99.99% efficiency at 0.01 micron.
  • Independent regulators to allow different respirators and lengths of hoses to be used simultaneously.
  • Should be used in the upright and closed position to prevent internal contamination.
  • Standard carbon monoxide (CO) airline monitor operating on disposable 9V batteries
  • External audible alarm and light to signal the workers of high CO content.
  • Remote alarm jack included.
  • Point-of-Attachment (POA) boxes for extending respirator usage beyond 300 ft.

Standards and Approvals:

  • OSHA 1910.134
  • BS-EN 12021:1999

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How to calibrate CO monitor?

A.

  • Install the CO calibration gas cylinder regulator.
  • Turn the regulator's knob counterclockwise to allow gas to flow through the hose. Check the flow of gas through the hose using touch or sound.
  • Connect the plug to the monitor's air sample inlet.
  • Allow 15-30 seconds for the digital readout to stabilise.
  • Adjust the "span" adjustment screw (clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease) until the digital readout matches the concentration (ppm) printed on gas cylinder calibration.
  • Turn off the regulator and go through the "zero" adjustment procedure again. The digital readout should return to "00".
