Victor heating nozzles feature neutral flame heating head and Rosebud heating nozzle design to provide clean welds and cuts in heat straightening, priming, treating, general-purpose pre-heating & welding applications. The neutral flame heating heads are the result of the burning of gases supplied in the proper proportion for perfect combustion. Victor heating nozzles come equipped with brass coupling nuts and built-in snap rings to protect cone ends from damage. Moreover, these double O-ring seals ensure gas-tight connection without a wrench and have a 65-degrees tip angle for perfect welding. Victor heating nozzles feature copper constructed elbow tips for excellent corrosion resistance. They are suitable for use with oxygen and acetylene gas. The nozzles are individually swaged to guarantee proper alignment for uniform sizing, flame and free flow contour.
Victor heating nozzles offer a wide combination of features, making them useful for cutting & welding applications in the automotive, shipbuilding, pipeline, metal art & jewellery, fabrication and manufacturing industries.
Victor heating nozzles turn the oil into a fine spray. Then this oil mist mixes with air (oxygen or acetylene gas) and ignites in the combustion chamber with a spray pattern of the right shape and size to accurately fit the equipment, assuring complete combustion of the heating oil.
In other words, the welding or heating nozzle cone end mixes the fuel gases and oxygen. When the oxygen meets the fuel gas, a homogenising mixing effect occurs. This complete mixing of the gases results in a well-balanced flame composition.
Victor heating nozzles comply with ISO, CGA E-4, UL 252, and ASTM G-175 certifications for high quality service & user safety
Victor heating nozzles require welding elbow, gas mixers and coupling nuts to ensure proper installation and operation of the cutting or welding process.
A neutral oxy-acetylene flame is best for brazing, cutting, welding and silver soldering of metals and is, therefore, most commonly used.
A gas welding nozzle comes with a single hole where the oxy-acetylene mix burns & exits, whereas, in a cutting torch, the same single hole has a ring of small holes around it, located in the middle of the tip.
For brazing thin sections of metals and small components, use torches that deliver the minimum flame and heat temperature used for air-natural gas and air-acetylene applications.
The recommended working pressure settings should be 10 psi for acetylene gas and 40 psi for oxygen, regardless of cutting tip size.
