Features

  • The tubes feature an inert lining made of FEP fluoropolymer which is physically and chemically inert, thereby making them ideal for highly aggressive chemical products, solvents, methyl ethyl ketone, etc.
  • This inert lining limits fluid contamination during transfer and imparts no taste / odour, making the tubing suitable for food & beverage use.
  • Thi tubing has a flexible design that offers an outstanding bend radius to allow easy manoeuvring in tight spaces, as compared to rigid fluoropolymer tubing.

Standards and Approvals

  • FDA

Frequently Asked Questions

What fittings are used for Tygon SE-200 tubing?

Single barb insert fittings allow a clamp to be fastened over the tubing (with the help of a barb) to create a seal and make the connection tighter.

How to install tubing to singe barb fittings?

  • Cut the hose precisely to length.
  • Slide the clamp on the hose.
  • Lubricate the hose. Push the hose on the fitting until the hose comes against the stop ring or hex.
  • Position the hose clamp and secure it with a wrench. Do not overtighten the clamp as it might damage the tubing.
  • To facilitate easy entry of the fitting into the hose, the outside diameter at the end of the tapered fitting must be smaller than the inside diameter.

What is the tubing made of?

The tubing comprises two layers - an FEP inner lining and a transparent plasticised external layer for excellent flexibility and chemical inertness.
