Spindle Squares
Starrett 649 Series spindle squares offer convenience & accuracy while tramming the head of vertical milling machines. These spindle squares are easier to use and more precise as compared to conventional methods of tramming using dial test indicators. They ensure perpendicularity and squareness between the work surface & spindle, and come fully assembled with two AGD Group 2 dial indicators. These devices feature solid steel construction with black oxide finish for corrosion resistance and long service life. Variants are available in graduations of 0.0005 and 0.001 inches.

Dial Indicators
Dial indicators, also know as test indicators, are used for accurately measuring small distances and angles, as well as to measure the deflection of the arms in engine building operations. These units feature a stem to ensure fixture reliability and spindles that form the basis of accuracy, without causing any adverse effect to the indicator or work surface. The magnetic stand of these indicators accept all AGD-type dial indicators, test indicators and probes with lug back and a mounting hole. Dial indicators are used to align workpieces in lathe & milling machines, EDM and surface grinders. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of reliable dial test indicators from brands like Mitutoyo, Starrett, Westward and Mahr-Federal Inc. These dial indicators are also used for checking the runout of the spindle in a machine. Starrett dial indicators are designed for translating short linear distances into rotational movement. These indicators feature adjustable bezels for ensuring a positive grip and provide balanced dial up to 4 inches. They come equipped with plain / jeweled bearings for low friction & high accuracy, and are coated with satin chrome finish to ensure easy cleaning, as well as corrosion resistance. Dial indicators from Mahr-Federal feature jeweled bearings providing high accuracy and excellent thermal stability. These dial indicators provide dial range up to 1 inch and graduations up to 0.0001 inches.
