Flexible Shielded Coupling

Fernco shielded couplings are made of 300 stainless steel and neoprene and commonly used to connect and maintain proper pipe alignment of cast iron, plastic, steel, copper and tubular pipes in drain, waste and vent systems. They ensure maximum transfer of pressure from the clamps - to the gasket - to the pipe and are resistant to various chemicals, UV-rays, fungal growths and normal sewer gases. These shielded pipe couplings have a maximum operating pressure and temperature of 4.3 psi and 140 degrees Fahrenheit, respectively.
