Working Mechanism

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) convert the supplied alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) and then change the DC back into AC power at a different frequency by adjusting the switching rate of a connected inverter.
  • Users can increase the frequency of the VFD to increase the speed of the motor and decrease the frequency to reduce the motor's speed.

  • Eaton H-Max Series variable frequency drives have a door-mounted graphic display & keypad for easy control of the frequency.
  • These VFDs have electronic bypass capability to control the bypass circuit using different input methods, BMS communications or in-fault conditions.
  • They have removable top & bottom entry panels and easily accessible terminals for quick connections.
  • These VFDs also come with a DC link choke for reducing harmonic distortions.
  • They have voltage ratings ranging from 208 to 480V.
