How do I install these hydraulic hose fittings?

  • Cut the hydraulic hose to the desired length using a hose cutter. Ensure that the end of the hose is cut cleanly and squarely.
  • Slide the nut, sleeve and female JIC fitting onto the end of the hose.
  • Use a crimping tool specifically designed for Parker 43 Series fittings to crimp the fitting onto the hose. Follow the crimping tool manufacturer's instructions carefully to ensure a proper crimp.
  • After crimping, inspect the crimped area to ensure that the fitting is properly attached to the hose and that there are no visible signs of damage or leakage.
