Working Mechanism

  • The electronic LSG trip unit continuously monitors the current passing through the circuit breaker.
  • If the current exceeds the preset long-time, short-time, instantaneous or ground fault pickup thresholds, the trip unit will trip the circuit breaker.
  • Once tripped, the trip unit provides diagnostic information about the fault detected and the magnitude of the current.

Features

  • These circuit breakers feature ground fault protection to prevent short circuits.
  • They offer zone-selective interlocking and communication capabilities for enhanced system monitoring & management.
  • These MCCBs come with an electronic LSG trip for advanced accuracy and low maintenance cost.

Standards and Approvals

  • UL
  • HACR

Frequently Asked Questions

How to install these MCCBs?

  • Mount the MCCB onto the mounting plate or panel.
  • Connect the cables to the MCCB terminals.
  • Set the trip settings on the MCCB.
  • Test the MCCB for proper operation.
  • Label the MCCB with the appropriate information.

How do I maintain these MCCBs?

  • Conduct periodic visual inspections of the MCCB for any signs of damage, wear or overheating.
  • Keep the MCCB and surrounding area clean and free from dust, debris or moisture.
  • Check the tightness of the cable connections and terminal screws to ensure they are properly secured.
  • Apply lubricant to the moving parts of the MCCB and calibrate the MCCB's trip settings to ensure they are accurate and provide the necessary protection.
  • Test the MCCB regularly to verify proper operation and to detect any faults or issues.
  • Replace any worn or damaged parts, including the MCCB itself, if necessary.
