Working Mechanism

  • A VFD (variable frequency drive) receives a signal from a process controller or human-machine interface and converts this signal to adjust the frequency of the AC power supply to the motor.
  • The VFD is equipped with a user interface, such as a keypad, display and LEDs, that allows the user to program, monitor and control the variable frequency drive.

Conformal coating is a thin, protective layer that protects the VFD's printed circuit board (PCB) from environmental factors like moisture, dust and other corrosive substances.

What types of fuel are compatible with these directional control valves?

All general-purpose hydraulic fluids complying with MIL-H-5606, SAE 10 and SAE 20 standards are compatible with these directional control valves.

How to clean these directional control valves?

  • Turn off the hydraulic power supply and relieve any pressure in the system.
  • Remove screws, bolts or fasteners and use a soft-bristled brush or compressed air to remove any dirt, dust or debris from the valve components.
  • Dampen a clean & lint-free cloth with a mild cleaning solution.
  • Use the damp cloth to wipe down the valve components and rinse the valve components thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining cleaning solution.
  • Use a clean & dry cloth to dry the valve components thoroughly and remove all moisture to prevent corrosion or damage to the components.
  • Reassemble the valve according to the manufacturer's instructions and reinstall it in the hydraulic system.
  • Restore the hydraulic power supply and verify that the valve is functioning properly.
