Eaton Danfoss GH663 Series hydraulic hoses are used in hydraulic systems for transferring both petroleum and water-based fluids. They have synthetic rubber construction for abrasion resistance and increased durability in demanding environments. These hydraulic hoses possess sound deadening and vibration absorption properties to minimise noise and enhance performance under high pressures. These GH663 Series hoses come with a single wire braid and are equipped with a PVC / nitrile blend cover to protect against high-impulse pressure applications and prevent twisting. They can withstand temperatures ranging from -46 to 258.8 degrees F and have a maximum working pressure of 3400 psi for reliable and efficient fluid transfer within hydraulic systems.
Through-The-Cover (TTC) fittings feature a scribe line around the circumference of the socket to enable easy identification of the location where the die cage is positioned for crimping. Their improved design provides higher operating and burst pressure and eliminates cool-down leakage. They are compatible with multiple hose styles to accommodate most application needs.
Hydraulic hoses are composed of three layers- the inner tube, a reinforcing middle layer and a protective outer layer. The inner layer offers enhanced flexibility and compatibility with the fluid to be transferred. The middle layer determines the strength and is made from coiled wire or textile braiding that offers flexibility and withstand extreme pressures. The outer layer is composed of materials that protect from foreign particulates, extreme weather, abrasive tools and sharp objects to ensure complete safety of the hose.
