Solid-state timers are integrated into basic relays to provide timed control of the relay's operation. These devices control the energising and de-energising of the relay's coil, allowing the relay to switch the load on / off at specific times or at a specific time delay, allowing the relay to control the load in a timed manner rather than relying on an external signal.
Silver alloy contacts offer high conductivity, durability and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for use in electrical devices subject to high levels of wear & tear.
