AApollo 38-200 Series atmospheric type vacuum breakers are employed in water supply systems to prevent backflow and maintain the integrity of potable water. They are installed at irrigation systems, faucets and hose bibs to safeguard against contamination by preventing the reverse flow of non-potable water into the clean water supply. These vacuum breakers offer an atmospheric design that allows air to enter the system, breaking the vacuum created by water flow interruption and mitigating the risk of cross-connections. They feature brass / polished chrome construction for structural rigidity and durability. These vacuum breakers have a silicone seal to prevent leakages. They have FNPT connections for straightforward / easy assembly and disassembly.
AApollo 38LF-100 Series atmospheric-type vacuum breakers are used in water supply systems to prevent backflow and protect potable water from contamination. These vacuum breakers are installed in plumbing systems, irrigation systems and industrial applications where there is a risk of back-siphonage. When water pressure drops, these devices automatically open to admit air, breaking the vacuum and preventing the reverse flow of non-potable water into the clean water supply. They feature bronze construction with polished chrome finish for resisting corrosion on exposed surfaces. These vacuum breakers can be operated at pressures up to 125 psi.
