D-type universal joint features a special tapered shape of the yoke, providing exceptional strength while allowing full free movement of the joint.
The HD-type universal joint has an induction hardened yoke for long life.
Lovejoy needle-bearing type joints offer high-quality, pre-lubricated, sealed needle bearings.
LOJ-type universal joints feature an offset pin design, making them ideal for use on hand-operated, low torque drives.
DD and DDX-type universal joints configuration compensate for both parallel misalignment and shaft separation.

Working Mechanism

Lovejoy universal joints consist of two yokes attached to either end of the shaft.
These yokes are joined by a central or connecting cross piece.
The connecting cross piece turns the bearings of the yoke with the change in angularity between shafts.
