Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems shrouded plugs are pushed onto locking female receptacles or connectors and twisted for locking the plug, thus preventing loose connections due to vibrations. They are made of nylon / composite materials for high tensile strength and excellent abrasion & corrosion resistance. These plugs feature superior cord grip to protect terminations against excess strain and an integral dust shield for protecting wiring chamber from contaminants or dust. With a maximum current rating of 30A, these plugs are available in lengths of 2.26 & 2.33 inches. These plugs feature nylon / nickel plated brass construction to ensure low friction, high pressure-bearing capacity and corrosion resistance. They are equipped with a robust, two-piece external cord clamp to provide maximum strain relief, and a stainless steel shroud to resist mismating with wrong devices. These locking plugs are capable of being operated at temperatures ranging from -40 to 75 degrees C, and are available in 2 & 3 pole configurations.
