Imperial lever type tube benders used for making smooth and tight radius bends in soft metals like aluminium, copper, and thin-walled steel tubes. These units are made of rugged, die-cast aluminium material with a triple head design, allowing 180 degrees bend in swift motion. They also feature calibrated markings to make accurate left-hand, right hand and offset bends. Choose from an array of these tube benders, available in lever and triple grooved types. Tubing benders are designed to create smooth and tight-radius permanent bends in pipes and tubes during metal forming processes. Raptor Supplies offers a huge variety of tubing benders from Baileigh Industrial, Heck Industries, RIDGID, Westward and Imperial. These tube benders feature industrial-grade metal construction to allow bending of soft copper, aluminium and light-wall hydraulic tubing. Some models come with a cushion-grip handle to allow comfortable grip during long hours of operation. These tube benders are available in manual, electrically-powered and programmable models on Raptor Supplies.
Position the pipe to the bender, ensuring that the fixed point is behind the backstop. Simply use a square and a scrap piece of pipe for ensuring that the mark on the pipe is perfectly aligned with the outside edge of the scrap pipe. Finally, pull the bend to the correct angle.
Tubes are stronger than pipes and perform better in applications that need durability and structural rigidity.
