Watts 740 Series pressure relief valves are ideal for protecting water heating equipment from excessive pressure. They are used in the pipeline or with vessels in pneumatics applications. These valves feature an iron body ensuring structural rigidity and durability. They feature non-mechanical seat-to-disc alignment that prevents the valve from sticking or freezing, ensuring smooth and consistent operation over time. Their seat is strategically located above the drain, preventing water from being trapped and sediment from fouling the seats. They can operate at pressures ranging from 30 to 75 psi (2 to 5 bar), providing reliable performance.
