They also offer continuous duty operation in dewatering, wastewater removal and water transfer applications. They feature heavy duty cast iron construction for machinability, wear resistance & vibration dampening. These CSA listed, energy saving pumps have permanent split capacitor motors with thermal overload protection for smooth acceleration.

Sump Pumps, 1/3 HP Motor, Automatic Operation
Little Giant sump pumps are suitable for removing accumulated wastewater from a sump basin located in the basements. These units feature 1/3 HP motors with thermal overload protection to prevent pump overheating, corrosion proof polypropylene volute and adjustable "snap-action" float switch activator for automatic on / off operation at 7 to 10 and 2 to 5 inch (high / low) water level, respectively. All pumps conform to UL and CSA standards and have cast iron housing with protective epoxy coating for excellent corrosion resistance.
