Bi-Metal Reciprocating Saw Blades

Lenox reciprocating saw blades cut through wood, metal and metal pieces and tools in maintenance, metal fabrication and demolition applications. They are constructed of bi-metal for allowing blades to bend without breaking or shattering and have carbide grit, 4 to 24 teeth per inch for straighter cuts along the metal surface. These blades feature Power Blast Technology that provides high speed blasting along the cutting edge to increase durability and strengthen the blades. They have straight or tapered backs with 1/2 inch universal shank for fitting onto corded or cordless reciprocating saws. Choose from a wide range of these reciprocating saw blades, available in lengths ranging from 3 to 12 inches.

  • Seleceted models have carbide or diamond grit tip material to ensure a good cutting rate and finish.
  • The 20502546A saw blade is made of Matrix 2 Grade, high speed steel and provides exceptional toughness with a good heat resistant performance.
  • Most of the blades feature T2 technology to enable the most diverse spectrum of materials to be sliced effectively and are also strengthened by Power Blast Technology to decrease breakage.
  • The Gold Series models have precision applied titanium nitride coating to dissipate heat, making them last longer.
  • They come with 4 to 32 teeth per inch to determine the roughness of the cut and the cut speed.

Working Mechanism

  • The angle of the blades sticks straight out of the saw, but the more aggressive blades are slanted down to catch and pull the work.
  • Metal blades travel more directly. The slower the cut and the more control you have, the straighter they go.
  • They use back-and-forth motion to make aggressive cuts.
