  • Destaco pneumatic damper actuators have an ultra-thin profile ideal for tight spaces.
  • They have pre-loaded ball bearings to ensure repeatable rotary actuations, including both gradual & positive actuation.
  • These units are supplied with a right-angle mounting bracket, ball joint, crank arm and push rod for precise rotary motion within a maximum time of 35 seconds.
  • They come with zero backlash and slip fit dowel pins for precision.
  • The flanged configuration has holes for secure sealing & installation.
  • Built-in, adjustable hard stops ensure rotation up to 180 degrees.
  • They can also accommodate optional mid-stops & rotary manifolds to eliminate twisted airlines.
  • These actuators offer payload up to 8 lb and can tolerate temperatures ranging from -20 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit & pressure up to 100 psi.

Working Mechanism

  • Pneumatic damper actuators depend on some form of pressurised gas, including compressed air that enters a chamber where the gas builds up pressure.
  • After building up enough pressure in contrast to the outside atmospheric pressure, it results in controlled kinetic movement of a device such as a piston or gear and generates energy.
