Miniature circuit breakers are designed for cutting off an electrical circuit to provide protection during overload and faulty conditions. These units can be plugged in into a compatible distribution board. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of these plug-in circuit breakers from brands like Challenger, Eaton, FPE, General Electric, Murray, Siemens and Square D. Square D miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) feature a thermal-magnetic trip unit, calibrated at 40 Degrees C, providing both time-delay and instantaneous current limiting functions. These breakers are equipped with a Visi-Trip indicator to display the tripped status and are available in 1, 2 and 3 pole options with a maximum interrupting capacity of 5kA at 480 VDC. Eaton plug-on miniature circuit breakers are suitable for interrupting short circuit occurrences in a branch circuit and feeder systems. They are snapped in one place and inserted in sections of panelboards that are then connected directly with the built-in bus bars, thus reducing the additional need of pigtail wires.
